Nilesh is an M.Com graduate and CAIIB with over 40 years of working experience in Banking & Insurance. He served as an Insurance Regulator and was the CEO of an Asset Management Co. After initial Banking Experience of over 5 years, he joined LIC of India as an Officer in 1983 before taking VRS in 2015 as Executive Director to join IRDAI as a Member. He has served LIC Nomura Mutual Fund as Director & CEO for 3 years and IRDAI as a whole-time director for 4 years.

Currently, he serves on the Boards of Mahindra ManuLife Mutual Fund Trustee Co, TATA AIA Life Insurance Co, and PBFintech as an Independent Director. He is a nominee Director on the Board of Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co. Ltd. Additionally, he is a Financial Consultant to Bajaj Finserv, Astute Corporate Services Pvt. Ltd, and the National Highways Authority of India. He is a Senior Advisor to Solicitors, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Mumbai. He holds philanthropic positions as Treasurer and Governing Council Member at the Liberal Education Society (Hadas High School, Nagpur) and is a Member of Siksha Mandal, Wardha (G S College of Commerce & Economics, Nagpur). He is a columnist in Loksatta, Sakal, Vivek Weekly, and has written his autobiography titled “Never Give Up”.

Mrs. Shinjini Kumar has spent over thirty years in Indian financial services in senior roles across organizations including the central bank consulting firm, multinational banks, and fintech. Presently, she is an Independent Director of Paytm Payments Bank. Prior to this, she was the Country Business Manager for Citibank's Consumer businesses in Fudia, which included complete executive responsibility over Retail Banking, resources, Wealth Management, Credit Cards, Small management Business Banking, Mortgage, etc. In her twenty-six years of experience prior to joining Citibank, she held senior positions in Paytm, Pricewaterhouse Coopers India (Partner and leader, Banking and Capital Markets Business, India), Bank of America Merrill Lynch (Country Compliance Head), and the Reserve Bank of India (Various roles in Foreign Exchange Management, Currency Management, and Banking Supervision). Currently, she is the co-founder of Five Salts Private Limited, a newly incorporated company that is building a platform to facilitate more women to buy financial products.
